Flash clips are some elements of animation and vector graphics for WEB pages. With this animation webmasters can create navigation panels, dynamic logos, full-scale clips with sound and flash completed websites. Flash clips are compact elements of vector graphics and that's why they download pretty fast and can change their size according to browser's window. Flash became the most recent part of any website design.
To view Flash elements you need to install Macromedia Flash Player. It can be included in your system or downloaded apart. Working with Flash you draw or import any graphics via Timeline. Such kind of clip can be interactive i.e. to react on definite action. When you finish to create a clip you will export it to Flash Player format and then import it into a webpage.
Computers shows a graphic in vector or bitmapped formats. Flash allows to create a vector graphics. But you can import and change any bitmapped graphics from other applications.
Vector Graphics
Vector graphics uses a straight and curved lines aka vectors. Also vector graphics uses a variety of parametres to describe the color and position of vectors. For example, an image of the leaf is described by points where line goes through creating the outline of the leaf.
Editing a vector graphics we use parametres of lines and curves wich describe the form of elements. Vector graphics does not depend on resolution.
Bitmapped Graphics
Bitmapped graphics describes an image with colour points called pixels wich are located on a grid. For instance, an image of a leaf is described by colour points on a grid wich can be equal like on mosaic.
Editing bitmapped graphics use edit pixels and not lines here. Bitmapped graphics depends on monitor resolution because every pixel is attached to exact grid wich can be defferent.
